"In the past, our facility had attempted to “on the job” train surgical technicians. This process included our own training materials and hands-on training. Admittedly we had a dismal success rate. Due to a shortage of available surgical techs, we were leaning that way again. Before we ventured on that path, Erin, of Stat605, contacted us asking if we had any interest in an online program.
